With technology advancing at such a speed that it rivals concorde and fashion becoming increasingly more mainstream and prominent, it was only a matter of time before the two joined forces.
The iPhone is a revoluntinary product, it seems that every second person either owns one or plans to own one at some point. I am lucky enough to have owned the iPhone when it first came out and I recently upgraded to the iPhone4. One of the key features of this great product is the ability to download and buy applications. Applications come in all different kinds, some free, some not. Genres include; games, entertainment, utilities, social networking, music, productivity, lifestyle, reference, travel, sports, navigation, healthcare, news, photography, finance, education, weather, books, medical... blah blah blah BOOOOOOOOOOOORING!!!!
Why bother with all of those when you can comply type in fashion and be inundated with literally hundreds of apps all related to fashion and the best part is, most of them are free! (I only do free apps.. if you have any friends that are suckers and buy them there is also an app called 'bump it' where you can steal their paid for apps for free too! sooo clever!)
So here are a few of my fave apps and don't forget, you don't just have to have an iPhone to enjoy them, most phones now have the function to customise your phone to your specifications and if you're anything likeme you will fill it with fashion!!
Having doubts about your outfit? Pick one of the stylists and upload a picture onto their page. Within a couple of mins you'll have a reply about their thoughts on your get up. I do have my reservations about how honest they really are but a fab idea!
Fashion Grub features the latest fashion blogs, collections from the best brands, news from the top magazines and opinions from media personalities like Perez Hilton.
Forget looking at fashion through your phone, on shopstyle you can BUY fashion through your phone.. and you thought internet shopping was great?? Very dangerous but that's what makes it so fun!
Stylish Girl allows you to take your entire wardrobe with you on the g.. OK not literally but oin spirit!
Take photos of each individual piece of clothing, accessories and shoes that you own and plan your outfits on the train or your luch break. Take inspiration from the fashion lounge where you can view the latest celeb looks or check out the fashion mail to find pieces that you can't live without.
The high street shop with worldwide fame now have an app. Check out their new arrivals, find your nearest store, be informed of the sales and read their blogs without even needing to get out of bed.
Trendtracker. The name really says it all. Keep on top of the latest trends right off the catwalks, search designers and get the latest fashion news.
It's my fave magazine so it's only natural that this would make an appearence. Allows you to read Grazia articles FOR FREE! they're so generous!
